Yes, it is. However, its under patent by Monsanto and is one the main features of thier high profit GMO crops which are 'roundup ready.' So you will see plebty of missinformation and studies claiming its fine or not conclusive that it causes harm. To be clear glyposate cause more problems with gut bacteria than with us. But you have 10x as many gut bacteria as cells and they play an extensive role in many processes.
