You misspelled " killed the neighborhood thug who attacked him and was pounding his head into the ground."

Easy and common mistake these days.

And even easier and more common mistake is assuming the attack was both unjustified and initiated by the alleged "thug", not a reasonable response to being threatened by a gun for no legitimate reason.

Unless, of course, a survivor packing a piece has always acted in pure self defense when attacked by "thugs". In hoodies.
