Yeah I think you are missing the point. You don't win superbowls with crap QB's unless its extraordinary. Last time was 03' Brad Johnson, and if someone makes an argument for 06' Rothlesberger I wouldnt argue with that. The only question is can Blake lead this team to a superbowl win? If he is good enough to, you keep him. If not, you move on. It's not hate, and I completely disagree with your statement that the QB isn't most important in all of sports. It's not about playoff appearances it about rings. The fact is if you don't have a good QB, you more than likely ain't winning no ring.

If having a good QB was all it took, then why haven't guys like Phillip Rivers, Andy Dalton, Alex Smith, Matt Stafford, or Carson Palmer even gotten to a super bowl? Simply having a good QB isn't going to cut it. Look at the coaches of every super bowl winner - all of them are considered elite coaches that any franchise would die to have someone like them lead their players to the promised land.

My point: Having a good coach is just as important, if not more, as having a good QB. A poorly coached team, even with good talent, likely won't even sniff the playoffs, let alone the super bowl.
