Great Albums People Might Not Have Heard Of
|
Quote:One more... Corrosion of Conformity. A 3 piece punk band in the 80's. Pepper Keenan joined the band in the early nineties and took over lead singing duties as well as general direction of the band. They became a hard rock/metal 4-piece with a heavy dose of Sabbath and southern rock mixed in. I'm amazed they didn't grab a bigger following, but mainstream rock radio wasn't as friendly to the sound then as it is now. All the albums that Pepper sings on are fantastic and he's on 4 of them. They've recently gone back to being a 3-piece and I have not had a chance to really listen to them since Pepper left. Here's my favorite song by them.Saw Corrosion of Conformity open for Soundgarden in Hamburg, Germany at a club called The Docks in early 90's. Great show! |
