I saw people talking about it on twitter. I don't see that getting done.
I would be furious if the team pulled off this deal.

Not knocking Brees.

He was one of the few times I predicted correctly on a QB.

Brees is a deserving HOF candidate.

But he's almost 40 years old. Even assuming Brees accepted the deal, he couldn't be expected to be a viable QB for long.

In 2-3 years tops, we'd be right back where we started.
