It is a risk.  And local media seems sold on the idea of cutting Bortles to avoid that cap hit. 

 But #WinToday contradicts this.   It was very clear that Bortles has been their guy from the beginning.  And everybody signed off.  #WinToday always meant Bortles.  

Alex Smith is #MaybeWinNextYearIfBySomeStrangeChanceHeWantsToSignWithUs.  Same for other free agents. So when are we winning again?
