"That's too bad."

Stop reading Russian news! Look up Khibiny. That is the latest and greatest Russian jammer. It does not have the concentrated energy level to shut down all systems on a Navy destroyer. And if it did, it would not only fry (permanently damage) the electronics on the aircraft carrying it but those on the ship as well. It would be a costly repair not easily hidden because there are multiple layers of multiple systems. Furthermore, jammers don't operate that way! In any case, we have been in that area multiple times since that shady reporting. Matter of fact, the USS Donald Cook has been training some Ukranian sailors. FYI...military members don't have the option to "quit" their jobs. LOL

You should look up how many different navigational methods are available to sailors. Man, I wonder how all those ships in the past got anywhere (sarcasm)? Have you seen how congested these two areas are? Take a look with vessel finder or some other ship tracking program. Also, many areas in the Pacific AOR deal with sea fog almost daily. Remember, just like your car, it's the other drivers that are dangerous.

As per the usual in the Military, once multiple, expensive events happen that are completely avoidable, they start at the top for lack of confidence. This means he has failed to properly lead his people whether that be through lack of supplies, shortfalls in proper training, increase in DUIs, increase in sexual assualts, increase in AWOLs, etc. Truely rolls down hill.

But hey, keep up the narrative guys.

I will venture to guess by your use of the word "narrative" that you believe all incidents are related but apparently fail to realize the 7th Fleet is in the Pacific and 5th Fleet is in the Med? Russian hoax involved 5th Fleet and the two collisions were 7th Fleet. Anyways, if you think this is an extrordinary circumstance, you should look up Naval Class A mishaps for the last few months.
