And I think if you're truly honest, a more prudent statement that everyone on these boards and virtually every college pundit could agree with would be more something like this:

"Nor has Auburn played anybody close to as talented as FSU, except for maybe Bama."

I don't think there is really a maybe about it. The Bama defense got torched by A&M, Auburn and Oklahoma. The only position group that Bama might have more talent than FSU is at running back and o-line. But I think those are debatable.
