This! However, if Blake gets injured and the team has to pony up for that 5th year not sure if Cousins would even be an option.

We've spent so much on defensive players over the past couple of seasons, there is no way we could afford what it would take to sign Cousins to a long term deal, so that is pretty much off the table. It would put us way over the cap.
