Same. Still on the fence about the Smoot pick in RD3. We passed on Feeney, Elflein and Garcia that could have added more depth and starting potential. 

I don't mind passing up on a QB in RD1 - RD2 either. Fournette and Robinson make sense to me. That's fine. But not going after Peterman, Webb and even Dobbs in RD3 - RD5 was disappointing for me as well. 

Shame on the front office though if Mahomes, Watson and/or Kizer end up being productive at some point as rookies this year.

I know I have some Iowa bias but CJ Beathard was readily available in round 3.  If possible he would have been available in a trade down as he didn't go until later in the 3rd.  The Smoot pick doesn't excite me but hopefully he succeeds here and we don't have to play the what if game. CJ has a long way to go in development but more competition at the QB position would have been nice.

My gut tells me the team has a higher confidence in Allen which could be why they skipped out on a QB in the early to mid rounds.
