I know you are kidding (mostly) here, but it's hard to blame posters for falling into that "unknown QB should start" trap after the quagmire we've been wading through at the position for several years.

At this point, I think it would be a bit of a gamble to move on from Henne and name Allen the back-up. Not sure this F.O. and coaching staff are going to roll those dice.
Whether or not they carry 3 QBs on the 53 is the big question.

He'd probably be safe on the PS.
