I wasn't replying to anyone's opinion in particular with  my post. I was just stating my own opinion about early season games as a whole and the Patriots in particular   (which most already understand and agree with themselves). 

I've heard Cris Collinsworth and Phil Simms on numerous occasions over the years state that September is the great "Fooler's Month"; meaning that the way the games work out in the first month, and which teams look good and those that look bad in September is not always what ends up being true in December. 

The Patriots will be there in the playoffs, if only for the fact that the AFCE does not look to have any other team to seriously push the Pats for a division title. It "could" happen though, you never know. I just don't see it right now.
