I'm personally amazed at how much we love an underdog or redemption story so long as it's not a Jaguars player doing the succeeding.
The problem is not personal.

 

Gabbert is and most likely never will be a good football player.   His roster spot and cap money can be used towards bettering the team.  If they want to put him on the practice squad for league minimum I have no problem with it.  He's not making a ton of money but his cap money is much more than it should be.
