We saw a different Bortles today

He was fine and played calmly. Made some nice throws and too bad about the drops, especially the Lewis one on the first red zone drive (Marcedes has to catch that one) and the Lee one later in the game.
The only throw I didn't like was when he rolled out (on the second red zone drive I think) and tried to find Cole who was well covered in the end zone and the pass was broken up but it was risky and could have been picked and that would have been an INT at the worst possible time. Other than that an encouraging game for sure. |
