Impressions From The Texans Game

Had power throughout the game. Hurricane coverage was on the main CBS channel in Orlando but they had the game on an alternate channel in standard def, so I did get to watch the entire game. Still have power ... so far.
Best game I've watched in a long time. If this is an indication of the difference between Marrone and Gus then the Jags have finally made a good coaching choice. Allen Robinson's injury was the only downside. As bad as that is, the Jags have been relatively injury free compared to most other teams so far. Cole just needs to fix his dropsies. The OL was much better than expected. The run blocking wasn't great, but good enough, and the pass blocking was solid. Some credit has to go to Fournette for making the pass rush hesitate and play action to work. We didn't have that last year. Houston has a really bad OL, and only one receiver. The Jags didn't do it (didn't need to), but other teams will double Hopkins every play, so I don't see Houston having much offense this season. Campbell was amazing. The whole defense played well.
