You're making my point for me...when the time comes that we need our QB to carry the offense himself he's unable to do it.  He wasn't even that good yesterday.  That was a marginal performance at best.  The run game and defense carried us to victory which will need often this year.

He led the team down the field on a 10 play, 75 yard drive right after the Texans got gifted their 7 points..

He had a clutch 3rd and 8 throw over the middle to Hurns for 13 yards. He had a clutch run of 15 yards that kept the chains moving on that drive.

If they go 3 and out on that drive, the Texans have all the momentum and there's life back in that building. Instead, Bortles calmly led them down the field for a TD. Energy and life was then completely gone from the building and the game was absolutely over at that point.
