Quote:Adams is dead. & How does McNair remind you of either Snyder or Jerry Jones? Now, I can see the Irsay/ Jerrry Jones comparison, but the other is a head scratcher. LOL, the Adams Family... LOL Loved that show in re-runs back in the 80's. But that's what I meant. Bud was a bad owner, I'm not concerned that his son-in-law now at the head of the organization is gonna be any better. The t'horns over paid to bring in Schaub from Atlanta, they then brought in Kubiak who was basically a mediocre HC, much like JDR... Actually, you're probably right... McNair is more of a Weaver type Owner than anything else. I'll retract my statement about him, but to think the t'horns are gonna be a monster in our division is still highly suspect. I'm not impressed. You have a new HC coming from the Belicheat tree. The Belicheat tree is the most over-rated and under-performing coaching tree I've ever seen. But you never know, they may turn things around... Doubt it though. They've proven nothing to over-hype them to the point you have in the last couple weeks-- IE the new HC hire and the new OC hire... It's way to early to annoint anything, on top of your nightmare Bridgewater senario. Again, I'm just not impressed with the other franchises in our division. Weaver was a mediocre owner, I'll give you that. You just felt like he wanted to small ball everything. I don't see that from this current regime. This offseason will show alot. But I'll remain positive untill I have to start scratching my head. At this point, I'm not scratching my head. For instance, we all freaked out with the Monroe trade. How's that trade lookin' now? Pretty good for the Jags. Not so good for the Ravens. It's POSSIBLE that the Caldwell might know what he's doing. Let's allow this to continue before we decide that this new regime is in trouble. |
