No I did, it's just that passing success isn't what is going to unstack the box. No one is going to be double teaming Hurns or Lee they aren't Julio or OBJ. The only way we are going to get the box unstacked with the personnel we have is by putting more WRs in and spreading the field more.

There is a difference between a stacked box and a base defense. If we go to a base offense of 12 or 11 personnel that does not mean the defense is immediately stacking their linebackers over the gaps and bringing a safety in the box. You stack the box when you are intentionally keying in on the run. A stacked box would indicate you are playing single high safety behind it and very few teams can play that way all game because most competent qbs will eat that up.

Spreading the offense out will only expose blake even more. He can't complete passes against man coverage. He will have pick 6's against a team playing zone all game. You don't throw more when you have a guy who can't throw. Do not be fooled by the last few drives of the game. The defense was in prevent by that point. I know we are trying to take the blame off of Blake but its the same thing. Until we get a guy who can even make simple routine passes and that can operate an NFL playbook our offense will look like this. Watching Blaine then Blake should have taught you this.

You have to be able to throw out of your base offense. That is basic football. If we can not throw and run from the same formations then we will continue to suck. This is the on the qb.
