Sanders ideas appealed to arguably the least informed members of our society. Just look at his rallies.  These aren’t the people working their fingers to the bone and seeing nothing for their tax dollars. These are people living on mommy and daddy’s dime who think they’re entitled to free stuff, and Bernie was only too happy to promise them the moon to get their vote.  

You clearly agree with Sanders.  Move to one of those utopias and live it.  I hear Venezuela is lovely.

Eventually you’ll discover what a fraud the Bernster is. He was perfectly fine to take a payout to get out of Hillary’s way.  It got him another waterfront vacation home.  Socialism has been very very good for the Bernster.  As long as he keeps promising people free stuff we can’t pay for, they’ll cheer him on.  Bernie needs a new pool, so stay on that bandwagon.

According to reports during the election, Sanders’ plan would have expanded the federal government by 50%, and would have cost $30 trillion over 10 years above and beyond what we are spending today.  And like most estimates of government spending, if they’re saying $30 trillion you can double or even triple that figure because the bigger government gets, the more bureaucracy you’ll need to feed.  The only one she who will benefit are the ruling class.  His suggestion of taxing the rich to pay for all husbands generosity is pure folly.  You could tax the top 1% at 100% and you’re barely scratching the surface.  

Socialism isn’t something that we can do better.  Someone has to pay for all the fee crap, and the population of earners vs. those who can no longer do so is already trending in a direction where we can’t afford the current structure.  Toss his plans into the mix and we will be Venezuela in a minute.
