And before you guys chime in with, "it only takes 30 seconds to run your HDMI cord to your TV though". Yea it does only take 30 seconds, but I live way out in the country and we can only get slow internet out here. That makes streaming things off the internet, crappy at best. I either have to deal with buffering every 5 seconds because it's in HD, or I have to watch a stream in 360p, or lower so it doesn't buffer every 5 seconds.

Now yea, I might be just one person [BLEEP] about this, but I think them forcing you to watch it on a stupid stream is ridiculous. I have no problem with them having a streaming option for the game, but it better be aired on NFL Network/NFL Sunday ticket channels as well. I know some people only have Internet access and can only catch a stream of it, but the people who pay for TV shouldn't be punished.

It's highly doubtful many people besides Jags and Ravens fans are going to go out of their way to watch a stream of this game anyways. Especially anybody who lives on the west coast. If you aren't a fan of either of these teams, are you really going to get up at 6:30am on your Sunday, just to watch this game? Not a chance.

You are definitely not the only one who hates the Yahoo-only idea. When we played against the Bills in London, I was on vacation in Washington, DC. Because the game was only on Yahoo, I could not record it on my DVR to watch after returning home later that day. I learned we won while waiting for my flight home at the gate. Unfortunately, people who didn't have a problem watching the game had no sympathy. Where are the people who understand not everyone can or wants to use Internet-capable devices to watch their favorite teams play in the regular season?

You are absolutely right about Internet technology often being bad for watching football games. On top of situations like yours, there are wifi issues on laptops for people who cannot get the games on TV and in most cases much smaller screens. In addition, people with satellites can get TV but not the Internet when there is a problem with the modem. For me it's also important to watch games on TV because the computer's sound system is terrible. To hear anything I need to wear headphones, which after a while become uncomfortable, and I would rather sit in a living room chair looking at a 42-inch screen that is easy to read. I could watch game highlights at the computer, but for a full game, I need the TV to watch it.
