It's Not My Fault I Lost .....

Actually, they're running Pence and/or Ryan's campaigns for them.

Although if Trump does manage to start getting things done by appealing to the Democrats in Congress to force compromises, then I will certainly be impressed. Ignoring your own party is a move taken at no small risk.

Like Trump, he offered a totally different view of things, (only in the opposite direction of Trump.) Bernie was also a much more likable person than Donald, (but who isn't?) Nobody wanted the same old, same old which is what Hillary represented. The Democratic party was way too clueless and out of touch with middle America to notice this and their total commitment to her campaign cost them this election. Their just stupid enough to try and support her again though in the next election, should she choose to run. She's so delusional, I would be surprised if she didn't give it another go.

I don't think the Democrats would win by going farther to the left, which is what Bernie Sanders represents.  The man is an avowed socialist.   The Democrats can win by going to the middle.  That's where the votes are.   I'm not sure they realize this.
Judging by their treatment of Tulsi Gabbard, who is about as close to centrist as prominent Democrats get, I think they're very well aware of that and want no part of the middle.
