Think about Jalen Ramsey. He is a Jordan Brand athlete. I’m sure Jordan brand is excited to have a player playing in London every year and having a prime time game (in other parts of the world) being streamed. Fournette is about to be a global star after a few years. This is why players are starting to want to come here. We have something no other NFL team currently has, major global visibility. Their agents know it and we are slowly seeing the benefit of it.

The main reason is so NFL can test/create market demand for the product before the directv contract runs out. When the contract ends in 2020something they will do what every sporting league in this country has already done, and sell their product directly to the consumer.  Like you said the old television model is dying, younger people (though people in general) do not watch traditional television.
