This was written days before the 2012 draft. That's the EXACT same thing you guys are doing to Jameis, I'm just pointing out that it doesn't always play out like that and Jameis will be under a much, much larger microscope next season.

 

Yes Barkley was consired a possible #1 pick, along with a lot of other people (even Blaine at some point).  Barkley doesn't have the arm, the size, or the mobility of a Jameis.  They're not even close. 

 

While I agree that Jameis may not be a #1 pick overall - he is already far ahead of scrubs like Barkley.  We don't know how 2014 will be for him, but I think if he does similar things in 2014 he should be one of the early favorites for the #1 pick overall.
