Tom Brady 12+ years - Peyton Manning 15 years - John Elway 16 years - Bart Starr 16 years - Joe Montana 15 years - Terry Bradshaw 14 years - Len Dawson 19 years - Kenny Stabler 15 years - Dan Marino 17 years - Brett Favre 20 years

 

On the other hand, a running quarterback is expected to last just six years.
 

You obviously lack the knowledge of what average means. You cant just change the parameter of his argument.
