Name one running quarterback that has lasted more than six years as a productive starter.

First, what I said wasn't incorrect. I said the Average career for any NFL player was 6 six years. I wasn't just talking about QBs.

 

Second, I will give you 2 "running QBs" (even though I consider Johnny just a very mobile QB) that have lasted more than six years as a productive starter. Steve Young was a running guy coming out of college, and the other guy who was known for scrambling around in the NFL was Fran Tarkenton.

 

So there are your examples. And I could probably find more if I really researched.....how do I know that. Because you said the average career of Running QBs is 6 years....that means there are those that last more than 6 years and some that dont.......thats how you get an AVERAGE.....
