I don't read the article as a wholesale dismissal of the team like Page.

His focus is about 80/20 Bortles and Marrone. 

Of course his analysis is woefully inadequate, even on the stuff he did offer.

For a Woody Paige wannabe, he misses the mark.

Where Marrone keeps talking of not taking the highs too high or the lows too low, as a fan base we tend to do the opposite. After the Texans win, we were controlling the AFC South. That's fans being fans.

Being reactionary is the default setting for fans as a whole.

However, I can understand the fans sense of excitement over this team's start, since we haven't seen anything like this in a decade.
