Picking apart a defense is not something a "game manager" does. A game manager goes with the flow of the game. Manning doesn't "manage" the game. He runs  it. Manning dictates every singe play that happens in the game. Franchise QB's do not "manage."

 

Alex Smith and Flacco AND NICK FOLES are game managers. They need good pieces around them to help them manage the game. Manning and Brady do it no matter who they are playing with.
