BTW, was I the only one tho thought Jack was a bit too lackadaisical returning that lateral for the TD?

Boneheadedness all around, for which Marrone should shoulder some of the blame. 

I thought the defense was clearly thinking this would be an easy day before they had suddenly given up 150 yards on the ground fairly early in the game. 

Maybe you can put it on not taking the bye after London, but I don't feel Marrone had the team ready despite everything we heard about it throughout the week.
