Impressions From The Jets Game
|
I really don't fault coaching here. Multiple times there were open receivers that Bortles just missed, or the WR dropped, or somebody held on a good play when it wasn't necessary.
The penalty at the end of the game was garbage as well. Poz doesn't get to talk when a guy hits him in the back out of bounds? Where was the flag on that one? This team is far better than in years past. I'm optimistic for its direction. I hope we sign Cousins and draft a QB high and spend the rest of the draft on linemen and receivers. If we do, we're set for the foreseeable future. We may still win the division this year. This was a motivated Jets team, at home, after a London flight. It's disappointing, but despite all the gaffes, we have multiple chances to win. |
