I remove all the blame from Blake, it's the coaches and WR's too

Someone mentioned actually playing wr, I have in HS and minor league. In minor league we had two QB's. A tall prototype and a short scrambler. The tall guy threw perfect spirals and was the starter. The back-up threw a lot of ducks but you know what...I preferred the short, duck thrower.

Point was, a duck isn't any harder to catch. In fact a spiral is harder to catch. But if you're a WR and been catching your entire life it really doesn't matter.

These guys CAN'T CATCH is what I'm saying. They don't (except Hurns) catch the ball like people who have been catching all their lives. A pass that's off the mark should be only a minor inconvenience unless you're being hammered by a DB at the same time. If the ball is in your circumference you should be able to catch it and it's not off the mark.

I'm betting 50% of Blake's INT's are off deflections!

Stuff like this gets into the head of the QB. When you make throws to a guy with DL all over you and yeah it may not be perfect, but the Receiver drops it, or worst yet deflects it into a INT.

Lol just no. Ducks arnt harder? Spirals are harder to catch? Nobody will ever agree with you about that. I'm in my 8th year of semi pro. People who throw ducks won't be have any zip on it so maybe that's easier for you personally but besides that, what you said isn't be real. Any hands catcher that doesn't rely on body catches needs a spiral. A spiral makes a tremendous deference for watching the ball into your hands and forming your hands around the ball for a clean clean catch. ANd any defense will tell  you how much easier it is when the ball flutters, hangs, and has no zip without a spiral.

ANyways, Blake would have done enough to win the game. Dumped off to fournette for a td or atleast the three yard line if Benn didn't hold. Or when he hit lee amen dropped it. But at the end of the day blakes quality of play isn't anywhere near good enough to go anywhere in the playoffs. I have been a huge supporter of him but the writing is on the wall. I do believe the coaches calls were questionable at critical times. The oline isnt run blocking well and lee isn't good in this role. He is a great wr3 and can make plays when not focused or depended on. All through college and pros he has been a body catcher and you be that as the number one guy
