Slowly but surely college football concepts are leaking into the league..We first saw it with the wildcat offense. Now a lot of teams are starting to operate from a spread offense (Patriots being one of the first), Houston has a ex-Patriots offensive coordinator and ex-college coach paired with a QB who has the ability to threaten a defense with his feet and arm. It just opens up the playbook completely.

However 50 points scored on offense..that's why I think the game has passed Dick LeBeau by...he's a dinosaur in this league and eventually like the dinosaurs..they go extinct if they don't evolve..

Such logic would make Dick LeBeau a liar when he says, "That is not us." If it is a scheme issue, the Tacks will lose more blowouts this season and hopefully miss the playoffs.

BTW evolution had nothing to do with a volcano or asteroid killing most animals including dinosaurs, but that topic is for another day.
