He had the highest top mph in college as well. There is 40 fast, and then there is game fast. There are a ton of 170 pound wide receivers and corners that can run a 4.3, but it's a 4.8 in pads. Fournette is a 4.5 that can still run a 4.7 with full pads. Muscle plays a large part in game day speed. Pads are going to affect twigs more than well-built players like Leonard. I wish they'd run 40's in pads at the combine or pro days, or at least private workouts.
