He was projected at one point to be the first OL taken and in the top 10 no-less. He was a steal in the 2nd.

Also trading up one spot to ensure you get the guy you want makes perfect sense. There was a very real chance Seattle would have taken him if we didn't trade.

He was expected to be a top 10 pick before Ramczyk and Bolles started getting a lot of hype. By April Ramczk seemed to be everyone's favorite tackle.

If you think the last team before your pick will take the guy you want, the logical move is leapfrog them by trading up two spots.
