It's easy to look good in the pass game when there aren't a lot of passes.  The few passes that we do throw are screens or inside of 10 yards.  If a quarterback has to actually take 5 step drops, you will see a big dip in performance.  Pass protection isn't the actual weakness of the line, however.  In the run game we get very little push and the few holes we do open up are tiny and close quickly.  It's rare that this line actually opens a gaping hole like the one Fournette took yard on Sunday.  Hunt sees those holes open up more in one game than Fournette has seen all year.

You cannot honestly tell me they are not better than last year. Yes I agree the run blocking is not great and needs a lot of work but the line overall is better than last year.

Yes, they are better. They still aren't good. Cam is an upgrade and Parnell has improved a little bit. Cann has had a few flash plays here and there.

Obviously. I don't care how often Blake Bortles drops back; the fact that he was never sacked in two of our first five games is proof we have improved our pass blocking.

Run blocking has also improved to an extent, but not totally on the offensive line. Having a real fullback and upgrading the TE2 position help in that area.

The fact that you believe him not being sacked in two games is definitive proof is a logical fallacy. Obviously it's something in which you've grown a strong familiarization.
