What is broken with the run defense?

What we did by letting him go and adding Malik Jackson was essentially trade off run defense for getting an inside pass rushing presence. Miller was never a consistent pass rusher, but on the flip side, Jackson is no run-stuffer by any means. The team also vastly overrated the run stuffing abilities of Abry Jones. That will have to be adjusted in the off season. One guy I like in the mid to late rounds is DT Bruce Hector of South Florida. They play two different positions man. Jackson took over Marks spot. |
