My mother, god bless her, she's one of the few people that always did it (and does it) right no matter her circumstances.

I agree, but this does not excuse persons in roles of leadership from behaving like children. Just because one shouldn't necessarily be considered a role model doesn't mean one should be excused for not at least trying to be a good role model, especially the POTUS.
