Just like I said when Tom was hired, he'll get credit for every good decision and Caldwell will get blame for everything bad.

I'm not giving Coughlin credit for Yannick... or any pick or signing that showed up before him. I give Caldwell that credit.
But I believe Caldwell is the reason we were SO bad... and I don't think Bradley was the reason for the L's (until last season)
It was the way Caldwell went about building the roster... yes, it is bearing fruit now... but we still have a ? at QB and the credit for the current success is being given to the coach staff for maximizing the results from an offense that doesn't have enough star pieces like the D.

I won't be mad if they keep Caldwell. But I won't be surprised if they move on either.
He's done well. Probably better than a lot of GMs in the past 2-3 seasons...... but I'm not going to sing his praises like he couldn't have done better, especially at key positions (QB, TE) and with key decisions (roster purge) when this franchise was in it's worst shape ever.
