If they keep playing this way there is almost no way to keep this defense together. Like it or not, our super bowl caliber defense window is already starting to close. Do we want to risk a rookie qb, Bortles improving or an instant upgrade for a Super Bowl push next year? We are really in uncharted waters here because we've never had so many guys deserving of a huge pay day. Teams like the Pats, Packers and Saints have been able to get by with having an elite QB and average defenses.
