I think we need to understand who Fournette is.  If there is a hole to run through, he is probably better than any back in the league in that situation.  Just bigger and faster than the other RBs and can do more damage.  Can run you over or run away from you.  But if there isn't a hole, he just isnt very good.  Which is true of many backs obviously.  But he isn't going to make something out of nothing the way a guy like Adrian Peterson or Fred Taylor could.  Even MJD at times.  It's just not who Fournette is.  So to blame him seems silly because you are expecting him to do something he isnt good at.  It's like asking Marcedes Lewis to run go routes all game long and then get mad that he doesnt end up with a lot of catches.  Fournette doesnt have much wiggle and doesnt have the ability to laterally cut to the outside to find room there.  He has to have a hole to run through or else he is completely ineffective.  We saw it in college when he would get shut down against Bama.  And we've seen it play out basically all year this season.
