This. We got Cousins and we're Superbowl Contenders next year, assuming his produces and honestly he hasn't shown anything the past 2 years that would suggest otherwise. I say you take the plunge if you can get him and worry about the contracts later. In two years Jackson will be pushing 30, Calais will be looking at retirement, so we're probably not too worried about those guys anyway. We just gotta somehow shore up Fowler or Ngakoue, probably won't get both. Then worry about Ramsey and Jack (if he stays healthy) the following year. We're gonna have to pay for a QB eventually if we want a title. Might as well do it when we have the Defense ready to go. That being said, I could see them making a move for Tyrod or Eli for cheaper price tags. Both would put us back squarely in the race, and Eli comes with the benefit of two super bowl rings and numerous playoff appearances. We'll see what happens, I'll be severely disappointed if we stick with Bortles again.
