The team's record is very much a secondary consideration and while it's good, it's been on a relatively soft schedule. 

The question is, are we 8-4 because of Bortles or in spite of him?

I mean, can we only think about one thing at a time all season? 8-4 is great, we could be 11-1 too, Jets game you touch Powell down and you win, or make a catch it OT and kick. Rams you don't give up a kick return and punt blocked for TDs, you win that one. Arizona, you get to OT and win by attrition, Arizona wasn't scoring again if they had to drive the field. 


The fact is, Blake isn't that good, so we discuss how this team can take the next step. QB is an obvious spot, because it is such an important role. Just look at his 4th quarter stats and his YPA on 3rd down. They are awful, you can't sustain winning over a long period of time with that at QB. You don't get this schedule every year, if we win the division we are going to have a tougher schedule next year.
