Alabama OC, Nussmeier, to Michigan.

I don't know too much about Nuss, but I do know that Borges had to go. There was far too much talent on this team to produce some of the pitiful results this year. Looking at stats and rankings it appears Bama has had a pretty effective offense under Nuss, and they definitely appeared to move the ball well. My only concern is how much of that is the Alabama/Saban effect where you are stocked with the best players in the country and how much is due to the OC.
On the other side of the ball, I started out impressed with Mattison but this season I saw some hot and cold performances by the D. Secondary looked downright awful at times. |
