I doubt Michael Jordan could come up with $700 million in cash.   They're going to want someone a lot richer than Michael Jordan.

The owner of the Charlotte Motor Speedway has expressed interest. 

It will be interesting to see if it is someone or a group with Carolina roots to ensure it stays in that region.  If anyone would even consider pulling it from that city they are insane.  It's already a large city that seemingly continues to grow.

It was fun for Diddy to talk about buying it, but actually buying the team and being able to buy it is another story.
