It's a different kind of album for them. The first track, "Mama" was a huge hit in the UK, but not so much in the US. I think it's one of their best songs though. It's dark. It has some of the best music and especially vocals I've ever heard. Contrary to rumor, the song is not about abortion. It is about a young man obsessed with a prostitute who is not interested in him. He has an Oedipal fixation on her, and insists on calling her "Mama." It is based on a book Phil Collins read called <i>The Moon's A Balloon</i>, by David Niven. In the book, a young man falls in love with an older prostitute who does not return his affections.
