If the refs eyesight isn’t good enough to identify jersey numbers (called DFJ 58) how is it reliable enough to spot the ball for plays on 3rd/4th down, or make quick judgement calls in fast moving plays? I mean this more as an actual question of anatomical ability at that age than a bash on the refs, cus we would’ve lost with or without their garbage.
We got 60-year-old men out there relying on their eyesight. Scientifically speaking that’s incredibly flawed and foolish. |
