The Jaguars beating the Titans in week 17 doesn't really eliminate them without some help.  The Titans would still get in as the #6 seed if the Bills lose AND the Chargers lose.  It's very possible that this could happen.

Bills (8-7) are playing @ Dolphins (6-9) - Divisional game with both teams being 2-3 in their division.

Raiders (6-9) are playing @ Chargers (8-7) - Divisional game with both teams being 2-3 in their division.

As it relates to this thread the upcoming game(s) have more meaning for the Titans.  Win and they're in as the 6th seed.  Lose and they're still in if the Dolphins and Raiders play "spoilers" within their divisions.  Based on that my thinking is that the Jaguars should play to win, but only without bringing key players with nagging and/or new injuries back too early (Hurns, Lee, Fournette, Robinson).  If the Jaguars get up with a solid lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, sit many other key players.
