The loss was good if it exposed something that can be fixed in time for the playoffs.

If it exposed some sort of truth that cannot be fixed, like if it exposed the fact that we are not as good as we thought, then I really don't see the harm in that either.

That's about it. It wound up being meaningless in terms of playoff seeding or division title or anything else, really.

Incidentally, I remember late one season when the Jags ran up 375 rushing yards on the Colts and yet somehow the Colts got things fixed and went on to win the Super Bowl. I don't expect the Jags to win the Super Bowl, but it's not like things can't be fixed from one game to the next.
