Most people don't understand the utter vastness of space. A beam of light, which travels at a little over 186,000 miles per second , takes about 4 years to span the distance to Proxima Centauri, the nearest star to our solar system. In perspective to the size of the known universe, that's roughly equal to opening your front door and standing on the threshold. With that being said (and hopefully viewed), it is my sincerest belief that if an alien civilization found some means to travel these distances in a faster way, and somehow found this speck of dust we call Earth in a seemingly limitless expanse, they would not be satisfied with merely playing peekaboo. We are not being 'visited'. The truth is out there and it is a yet-to-be explained Earth-borne phenomenon.
