I don't think Caldwell was tanking to go 0-16/1-15 to get the first pick, but rather play the young guys and let whatever happens, happens with regards to the record. If we happen to go 1-15, we take the first pick; if we go 7-9, we have more young parts to build with in the future.
 

But that's not what we did, we let Daryl Smith go for Geno Hayes, Knighton for Marks, Cox for Blackmon, these aren't young guys where evaluating for the long term.
