My in-laws think we're crazy because we're preppers of a sort. THIS is one of the reasons why we are. I have everything I need stocked up, I have my camp stove ready in case we lose power, we have plenty of drinkable water, plenty of food, and most importantly plenty of coffee. A lot of people were trying to get to the store to buy their milk and bread. I was on my couch drinking coffee and watching Godless or wandering outside to take pictures to text to my family in FL. It pays to be prepared.

My stepdad worked for them for 30 years. They said he'd get plenty of time off in retirement to worry about the weather.

Bingo lol... i love my job. But seeing as how the people in my field are Union, we are allowed to complain and take off when we want lol. The benefits and retirement are amazing. That is what separates them from FEDEX. But im not going to lie, you have to go through a gauntlet to finally make it to driver or upper management(managment sux lol). Today was BRUTAL. But in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't bad.
